The holiday classic "Home Alone" is slipping back into movie nights and Disney+ queues as the Christmas season approaches.
Written and produced by John Hughes and directed by Christopher Columbus, the film follows the antics of Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, as he is accidentally left behind by parents who jet off to Paris for Christmas.
While they are gone, Kevin has to fend off two house burglars, the self-proclaimed "wet bandits," played by Oscar winner Joe Pesci ("GoodFellas") and Daniel Stern.

The primary filming location for "Home Alone" was 671 Lincoln Avenue in Winnetka, Illinois. That's the setting of the McCallister family's stunning home.
Other filming locations include a nearby house at 656 Lincoln Avenue and other locations in Illinois while recreated sets were built at New Trier High School.

Culkin, now 43 years old, is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday, when his "Home Alone" mom, Catherine O'Hara, 69, is expected to help honor him. His "Home Alone" dad, John Heard, died in 2017 at the age of 71.
Pesci is 80 and Stern is 66.
